One of the honour bestowed to Hazrat Shams Ali Qalandar is
that people were set free by his dua from court cases and sentences, as in the
above mentioned Kalam of Qalandar Pak.

Uptill now thousands of people have been set free, accounts
of all of those would fill books hence only one of the instance is shared as a
tip of the iceberg.

In the village “Shadiawala”, Muhammad Din a 25~26 year old had
some issue with Mian Ali Muhammad who was the Imam (Prayer leader) in the local
mosque, and killed him. When the family of Muhammad Din knew about this they
immediately went to Qalandar Sahib and told them that their boy had killed a
person, Please pray for him that he gets forgiveness from Allah. Qalandar Sahib
asked whom he has killed. “Mian Ali Muhammad the Imam”, they replied. Listening
to this Qalandar Sahib said “He killed Mian(Imam), didn’t he find any infidel”.
The boys family replied that he was a fraudster. After listening to them
Qalandar Sahib said “Go now, I will present your request in the Katchery Paak
and will inform you about the final decision”.

In about a week’s time Qalandar Sahib went to the village
and announced that Muhammad Din has been acquitted in the Katchery Paak. The
news spread to the whole village like a wild fire.

At the time several sikh communities also lived in that
area, one of the sikh who was a landlord of the area and was fiercely against
the killers family called all the heads of area and decided to inquire about
this matter, upon asking who ordered the announcement, one of the servants of
Qalandar Sahib said that, he himself had ordered. So the sikhs went to Qalandar
Sahib, and again asked the same question, he replied “Whatever you have
listened is true, I ordered the announcement to be made and Muhammad Din has
been acquitted”.

The Sikhs returned after listening this, and started
planning how to proceed with the court case, they decided to actively pursue
the case and all testimonies to be presented against the accused by the Sikhs themselves
so that accused receives death punishment or at-least life imprisonment. Hence
they started preparing the court case with the numberdar of the village Heera
Singh, leading the Sikhs. Due to this two parties had formed in the area one
who supported Muhammad Din, and the other against him. In the party against the
accused one of the Nephew of Heera Singh who was a devout follower of Qalandar
Sahib came to him and informed that his community had selected him as a witness
against the killer but Qalandar Sahib had announced the acquittal, what should
he do. Qalandar sahib gave him the permission to do what his family asks, and that
his testimony wouldn’t have any affect.

The case proceedings started and the witnesses gave their
testimonies with full zeal and zest, so that the killer be given severe
punishment. During those days whenever Qalandar Sahib visited the village the Sikhs
would gather around him and ask how did he knew that Muhammad Din would be set
free. Qalandar Sahib gently explained to them that “Muhammad Din has been set
free in the Katchery Paak, whatever Allah shows to me I announce it and that is
never wrong”.

Similarly once Qalandar Sahib visited the village the Sikhs started
saying, although he is a Faqeer and never touches money, but he has made this
an excuse to get bread and butter, nevertheless the killer would get life sentence
and if not life imprisonment is a must, and the faqeer will leave the area at
that moment and as he has no permanent abode no one will be able to prove him
that he was wrong about the announcement he had ordered regarding acquittal.
Listening to this Qalandar Sahib vehemently replied in a load voice,” This
faqeer announces that he will be in this village one day before the final
hearing of the case and will not leave it till the decision is announced”.
Everybody was astounded by his announcement and nobody dared to speak a word
and returned to their homes.

The trial continued and the family of the accused was
instructed by Qalandar Sahib to have firm belief, and not to go to any other
faqeer or Mezar for dua regarding this. But the mother of the accused came to
Qalandar Sahib again, fell to his feets and said that her heart was not
satisfied. He replied you would get satisfaction. That night the lady saw in
her Batin/dream that her son had returned and when she asked her son how he was
freed, his son replied, the Staff/Assaa of Qalandar Sahib had set him free. The
morning the lady returned, thanked and said now I am satisfied.

At last the day of final hearing was there, and Qalandar
Sahib reached the village one day earlier and announced that the faqeer is here
as had promised. The night the Sikhs cordoned all the paths leading out so that
Qalandar Sahib wouldn’t go away at night. But as was the will of Allah the next
day Muhammad Din was set free by the court, he reached the village and fell to
the feet of Qalandar Sahib and became the Ghulam of Qalandar Sahib.

During the Qalandar Sahib's stay in Dhuliana, Gangaram who was a hindu came to him. He was financially broken and poor, with debts to pay. He struggled to feed his children even a piece of bread, when the situation seemed out of control and no sign of hope, he came to Qalandar Sahib touched his feet and started weeping,"Please have mercy on me, let me be able to feed my children, i am buried under huge debts".

Listening to this Qalandar Sahib said to him,"Go, you will be free from your debt and will have abundant wealth."

Hence just as Qalandar Sahib had said it only took a few days and the Hindu was free from debt and became wealthy. This incidence had a huge impact on him and afterwards he remained in the service of Hazrat Shams Ali Qalandar.

This is just one of the instance in which, People came to him empty handed but were blessed with the spiritual as well as worldly wealth.

Its the saying of Qalandar Pak
"Jo koi is darwaze Aawe Khali Mool kadi na jaway" i.e Whoever comes here will not return empty handed.
Dhuliana "also known as Dhuliana Sharif" is a small settlement near Hujra Shah Muqim , a few KM away from Shamsabad where the darbar sharif is located .

Hazrat Shams Ali Qalandar didn't had any abode , he used to roam in different areas . After he was bestowed with the title of "Qalandar" , he was asked to move to this place. He had changed his scholarly attire into Qalandari according to the desire of God, ( A hadith related to this)
<span style="background-color: #fafafa; font-family: "verdana" , "arial" , "tahoma" , "calibri" , "geneva" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica neue" , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.6000003814697px;"><span style="background-color: #fafafa; font-family: "verdana" , "arial" , "tahoma" , "calibri" , "geneva" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: -webkit-auto;"> Abu Huraira Radi allaho anho reported Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) as saying: Many a person with disheveled hair and covered with dust is turned away from the doors (whereas he is held in such a high esteem by Allah) that if he were to adjure in the name of Allah (about anything) Allah would fulfil that.
<span style="background-color: #fafafa; font-family: "verdana" , "arial" , "tahoma" , "calibri" , "geneva" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: -webkit-auto;">Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6351

, when he came to Dhuliana no one was aware of his spiritual & intellectual level. This place was famous for thieves and bandits, their was a state of immorality in the community ,people were unaware of the teachings of Islam.

The locals initially gave him a place to stay and provided food for someday's, they considered him an ordinary dervaish/malang who has no place to live , they taunted him and maltreated him , after someday's they stopped giving him food on the reason that we have not seen Sayeen offering prayer , if he would offer prayer in front of them , they would give food otherwise not.

But as Sayeen Shams Ali was doing as he was instructed by Allah Almighty and nor his free will , when one group stopped offering another one would feel pity and offer food . The groups against Sayeen would instigate these people to force sayeen to offer prayers. In this way the cycle went on & on Sayeen withstood these conditions patiently,as it was the will of God , and with time people started became aware of his Spiritual stature , the faiz of Sayeen Shams Ali Qalandar started in this area . But the opposition continued too.

Once his opponents planned , that he being all alone, no one knowing the dervaish outside nor came to meet him and that he is a burden on us ,we have not seen him pray & people are getting influenced by him , why not kill him . They fixed a night and a group gathered that night to kill him , but when they reached his abode they were dumb founded by what they saw , " The body of Hazrat Shams Ali Qalandar was scattered and each body part was doing Zikar loudly . The people were scared to death when they saw this and quickly left the place , only to return the following morning and asked for forgiveness.

Later he was given a Hujra in the local mosque of Dhuliana , where he lived , performed his azkar but his opposition continued. The new one being the Mullah of Mosque.

The Mosque in Dhuliana where Sayeen Shams Ali Stayed(it has been rebuilt the hujra is not present now)

As Sayeen Shams Ali Qalandar was a learned scholar & well versed with Shariah but due to his attire people were unaware of it , Sayeen would correct the Mullah whenever he made a mistake during the recitation of Quran , or Lectures etc . This made the Mullah angry that how someone who doesn't appear to offer prayer is able to correct or point at me .

Similarly during his stay at the hujra , as usual someone would give him food and his opponents would force that person to withdraw. These days a local women who was inspired by the faqeer would offer him food , she would come everyday to his hujra to offer him food. She too was forced by the opponents to withdraw but when she refused , they devised with a strategy. They planned to close the door of mosque when the women went to give food & would gather the locals , and make a (false ) allegation that the faqeer is no saint he has an affair with the women. They made their plans but Allah too protects his friends. The opponents did what they had planned when the women went to give food , they locked to doors of entrance from outside , and were beaming with joy that their plan has succeeded as the women couldn't leave from any other-way and called the locals to witness . But to their astonishment and dismay there was no women to be found when the door was opened .

People also observed several other Karamat/Miracles of Sayeen Qalandar Pak . Once a local, aged couple came to him and asked him to pray as they were without any offspring to keep their name afterwards. Sayeen prayed for them and disclosed to them that that they will have a child by Gods will . And also asked them to call a Dhol wala and have the drum beaten . Usually this is done on the occasions of Happiness or for making announcement . Hearing the dhol when the people came to know about what Sayeen had said to the couple , they jested & teased the couple that the faqeer is mad how can you have a child in this old age , this is against the laws of nature , the faqeer is giving you false hope.
But these people were unaware of the fact that Allah never turns down the words of his beloved people , as Allah Almighty says in Hadith Qudsi
On the authority of Abu Huraira who said: The Messenger of Allah (upon whom be Allah’s blessings and peace) said: “Allah the Almighty has said, ‘Whoever has mutual animosity with a friend (wali) of Mine, I declare war upon him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the religious duties that I have imposed upon him; and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory work such that I love him. And when I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks. Were he to ask of Me, I would surely give him; and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it.” (Recorded in al-Bukhari)

Just as the Sayeen had said the couple was blessed with a boy , and this event became famous in the area.

Once Sayeen went to see a person at his house, their he encountered a middle aged women who started putting sarcastic remarks and questions and taunted him . Sayeen faced her calmly and tried to answer her queries , and returned .
As he left the place , the inside world of the women changed , her emotional state became unstable she became agitated and nervous .She left her home and went to Sayeen Shams Ali , described her state of distress and asked him for forgiveness , as she had maltreated him . Sayeen accepted . Such a change occured in that women that she started serving Sayeen Shams Ali , would offer him food and follow his every instruction . Sayeen gave her spiritual faiz and gave her the glad tiding of the Maqam of Nisf Qalandar ( Half Qalandar) . Her name is Mayi Noora & her grave is located in the enclosure of Darbar Sharif.

Sayeen Shams Ali taught the people here the basics of islam , the locals were even unaware of how to perform wudu . Also spread the spiritual faiz gradually the the area which previously was famous for thieves became an abode of learned people and came to be known as Dhulina Sharif .

Sayeen Shams Ali was always busy in the remembrance of Allah , he continuously recited Surah Muzamil day & night (paused only for the call of nature) , Qasidah Ghosia and Durood Sharif.
There is a saying among Sufis " Jo Dumm Ghafil So Dum Kafir" i.e the moment you are distracted from the remembrance of Allah you become non-believer" . So sufis remain always in the remembrance of Allah.
Also the normal persons pray five time a day , but the prayer of Sufis is continuous !

The spiritual faiz of Sayeen Shams Ali Qalandar is like an ocean , thousands have benefited from it, and continue too this day.
Introduction:

"Behold! Verily on the Friends of Allah there is no fear nor shall they grieve"
Quran (Surah10: Verse 62)

Abu Huraira (r.a) also reports a Hadith Qudsi in which our Holy Prophet (saw) informs us that Allah (swt) said:
'Whosoever acts with enmity towards a Friend of Mine, I will indeed declare war against him"
[Hadith Qudsi: Bukhari]

Tasawuf is path leading to Allah Almighty. It is the path of Aulia Allah, who have spent their whole lives to get closer to Allah and have traversed this path. Only the one who has travelled a path can guide the newcomer about it otherwise the newcomer will not reach anywhere.

Sufism/Tasawuf/Spirituality brings humans closer Allah & the goal of creation of mankind i.e Marfat e Illahi , via Holy Prophet PBUH and the guide is the Sheikh/Peer/Murshid/Sufi Saint.

If you need an expert to build an ordinary house, what about your heart? How do you approach your Lord without
the guidance of an expert? You have to look for an expert. You cannot reach Him without one, no matter how much
you try to move on this path alone. No one can reach by himself because sometimes, even though he knows he is
on the right path, he might do something out of place or time. Then he will fail. So we need an expert and that expert is our guide.

Reference from Holy Quran:

"O You who believe!Be mindful of your duty to Allah and seek a means to approach Him" (Sura Al Maida, verse 35)

What is this means to approach Allah?Hazrath Shayhk Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilani states that a murshid is to be accepted as a link and a mediator between himself and his Lord, and also as a method and means to attain Him.He further says that the spiritual guides are the road to Allah, the signposts to it,and the gate by which it is entered. For every seeker of Allah a spiritual guide is therefore indispensable(necessary).

In Sura Kahf verses 65-82 where Allah had ordered Hazrath Musa to seek the company of Hazrath Khizr to gain certain knowlege that Allah had betowed upon Hazrath Khizr.

The Sahaba learnt from the Holy Prophet then the Taba'in learnt from the Sahaba, then the Tabe Taba'in learnt from Taba'in.In this way, century after century the master and disciple sequence continued without a break through the saints until the present period and will continue till the advent of the final hour.

In Sura Fatiha Allah says in
Ayat
5. Guide us in the straight path.
6. The path of those whom You have favoured.
7. Not of those who have earned Your anger and nor of those who have gone astray.
(Kanzul Iman)
Allah has made namaz obligatory upon us and in every namaz we recite Sura Fatiha and without it the would be no namaz. We are taught by Allah to ask him for the path of those he has favoured ( anamta). We repeatedly ask Allah in every rakat, everyday and will have to until we die for the path of those he has favoured. If Allah has taught us to ask him for the path of those he has favoured then what better thing is there than actualy keeping the company of those people.
So the next question comes who is the favoured?

In Sura Nisa Allah says
Ayat 69
And he who obeys Allah and His messenger then he will get the company of those who have been blessed by, Allah, viz. the prophets, and the truthful, and martyrs and the righteous, and what good companions are they.
Ayat 70.
This is the bounty from Allah, And Allah is Sufficient Knower.
(Kanzul Iman)
In Ayat 69 Allah names the people who he has favoured. The words blessed by Allah is read as ''Anamallahu Alaihim''. Allah has blessed/favoured the Prophets(nabi ina) , the Truthful (siddiqina), the Martyrs (shuhada), the righteous (saliheen) and then Allah says ''what good companion are they'' meaning that they are the best of all company's.

In the next Ayat Allah says that keeping the company of these people is a bounty from Allah. SubhanAllah this is because through their company Allah makes one pious and attain his closeness.

When Allah wanted to be known he sent 124,000 Prophet's to us and through keeping their company and believing in them people have become muslims. Those who did not keep their company and did not believe in them became Kafir. Every 500 years there is a Mursal Nabi born for example the Prophet (Sallalahu alaihissallam) was born 500 years after Isa (Alaihissallam). After the Prophet (Sallalahu alaihissallam) there will be no other Nabi's but the Prophet (Sallalahu alaihissallam) has said that there will be people from his ummat that will not be Nabi's but will have the makam like the Nabi's. This is because they will continue the work of the Prophets by spreading the message of Islam.

1500 years has passed away but the law of Allah has not changed people will attain Allah's closeness by sitting with other people who are the favoured and have his closeness. And those who sit in the company of such people are indeed under the fazal of Allah.
"O Believers! Fear Allāh and remain in the company of the truthful."
"And on that Day We will call them with their Imāms [Mentors, Shaykhs].
"O You who believe, fear Allāh and seek wasīla [means] to reach Him."

Stages of tasawuf

Tasawuf can’t be learnt from books, only a true guide can teach you, and help you across the spiritual manazil which are 3 :
1.Fana fil Sheikh
2.Fana fil Rasool
3.Fana fil Allah

Spiriutal Faiz:
Faiz is the spiritual blessing transferred from the Peer to his mureed. It is the Noor or sacred light passed from Allah to Holy Prophet and through him to Murshids through their Sililah/Chains leading back to Prophet PBUH.
The mureed accumulates faiz given by his murshad to him and it enables him to traverse the path of spirituality, reach spiritual Maaqam, get closer to Holy Prophet and Allah Almighty in Zahir & Batin.
Although one can get faiz if Aulia have nazar e karam on them but the best way to receive faiz is to take bayt at the hands of your murshid , follow his every instructions & love him more than anything on earth.

What is Bayt: a covenant (promise) or pledge / oath of allegiance ,
The one who wants to be a mureed must give his oath and his promise to his murshid, to learn from him how to leave his bad manners and to lift himself to better conduct-'adaab in order to reach the perfect knowledge of spirituality.
He sells his heart, Sooul to his Murshid. After this sale he no longer has a say in these matters nor can he do as he pleases. He should also follow teachings of only his murshid and not any other, but should respect other Wali Allah.

Benefits of taking Bayt:

One comes in direct supervision of his murshid who looks after him , both in worldy difficulties and spiritually.

Mushad is one who can ensure safe passage of his mureeds on the Bridge of Sirat on day of judgement, hence if you are mureed of a kamil Murshad and follow him, he will take care of your afterworld too.

Bayt is the main way to receive Spiritual and worldy faiz.

It is a must requirement for tasawuf.

One’s soul is cleansed of the rust accumulated due to our sins, in the same way as we wash our body.
The love for this world decreases.

One is able to better comprehend the religion, beliefs, difficulties and tests by Allah on him.

One can better handle worldly troubles of family, wealth, etc

Finding Murshad :

Murshad to whom the bayt is taken should be Kamil.
He should have travelled the path of tasawuf and reached a maqam.
He should be spiritually linked to Holy Prophet.
He should have correct beliefs, Ahlus Sunnah wal jammah, & well aware of Quran & Sunnah.
He should not be an open sinner.
One feels calm and tranquility in his presence.
His teachings bring one closer to Allah & Prophet PBUH.
He should not be deeply involved in worldly affairs.

Murshad e Kamil Sayeen Faqeer Hazrat Muhammad Shams Ali Qalandar Owaisi Qadri Noshahi

In the busy world we live it is difficult for us to search for true murshad, and most of the Aulia Allah in this period don’t want them to be seen, publicized as the world is involved in materialism only.

One easy way is to become Mureed/Discipline of a Peer e Kamil having Owaisi Nisbat , Owaisi nisbat is one in which faiz is transferred to the mureed batani , whether the Peer is Alive in this world or not. Hence one can get faiz from such a saint in the same way as if he were alive in front of us.

Faqeer e Owaisi is one who has received faiz directly from Holy Prophet PBUH, in Batin.
Our Murshad Faqeer Hazrat Shams Ali Qalandar is an Owaisi faqeer , thousands of people have received faiz from him, in his life and receiving now too. The number of mureed in his worldly lifetime only, measured in lakhs, he said that of upto 2-3 lakh mureeds he had noted names & details in written form, after which the number was so much he didn’t write.

He said to his Khalifa’s that all the disciplines/mureed of this Silsilah are my direct Mureeds and I will look after them.
Thousands of people have reached great spiritual status from his faiz, and the process continues. Some of his disciplines reached the maqam of Abdal, many are Sahib e Mezar themselves.

Receiving faiz is easiest to get in our Silsilah, one doesn’t need to spend his whole lifetime and then bear its fruit, as in other silsilah’s,

Sayeen Shams Ali said in
his life that “I give the seekers their share of faiz the moment they arrive my
door”. Also “Whoever will come to this place will never return empty handed”.

One anecdote is shared for reader’s interest:
Sayeen Shams Ali Qalandar liked Baba Farid Shakar Ganj, once he visited his Mezar in Pakpattan, and said in a light note to Baba Faarid “If you were present in our lifetime I would not have let you faced such hardships as you faced on the path of tasawuf “ .

You can become mureed in our silsilah and learn spirituality under the Batani/Spiriutal guidance of Shams Ali Qalandar.
Many people question about asking help other than Allah Almighty , & that according to them it is mentioned in Quran to ask for help from Allah Alone and not from Aulia Allah etc . For them the following article about that particular ayat and its tafseer and its analysis is shared. After reading this it will be clear that that particular ayat was for non-muslims, (that some sects try to impose on Muslims) , and Quran doesn't prohibits from asking the Aulia Allah for dua etc . They are the friends of Allah and due to their piety, love , and struggle to get close to Allah , He listens to them and accepts their requests .
